Brotherhood and Healing in the Wyoming Mountains – Ian Beaule (USMC)

As a veteran, there's not a whole lot of things in life that bring back what we vets miss about our service.
When you look back on it, it's not the easy days that come to mind, it's the challenges and the friends you made along the way.
The Wilderness Healing Project does just this. It brought me together with other combat veterans in an environment that was challenging and yet beneficial to healing a part of me I didn't know needed attention. I made friends along the way and felt part of “the family” again.
The Wilderness Healing Project is truly healing. Being in Wyoming, with horses and veterans, and taking in the beauty of it all together, was a blessing.
I can't thank everyone involved enough. Dan Starks, Daniel Wallace and his family, JP and Erica Harris, and Chamley Outfitting, my guide Kaden Chamley and his father Blake Chamley, and everyone who helped behind the scenes, thank you for all your hard work. I am truly humbled.
God bless.
